Interlaken guest card

As a guest staying overnight in the communes of Interlaken, Matten, Unterseen, Wilderswil, Gsteigwiler, Saxeten, Bönigen, Iseltwald, Ringgenberg, Goldswil and Niederried, you pay a visitor's tax.
This specific tax is used by Interlaken Tourism to support and develop tourist attractions.

In return, your host will provide you with a personalised guest card on paper in credit card format, which offers you an interesting and wide range of discounts as well as free public transport on local transport within the area of validity.
 

You get the Interlaken guest card from your host on arrival at your accommodation.

Your guest card is individualised, and each guest therefore receives a separate guest card.
Children from 6 to 16 years old receive it as well.

Children under the age of 6 do not receive a guest card. Most services are free of charge for them.

No, dogs are not valid for a guest card.

Please check with your host before your arrival whether dogs are allowed in the accommodation.

Your family members with four legs  travel for free on the Jungfrau Railways routes (excluding the Eiger Glacier to Jungfraujoch).

The digital version of the Interlaken guest card is the Interlaken Pass.

The guest card is personalised.
You will need the surname, first name, nationality, home address, e-mail address and dates of the stay of the person making the main booking. Furthermore, the surname, first name, date of birth, nationality and dates of the stay are required for each person travelling with you.
