Individual farms and floral decoration along the hiking trail

From the railway crossing at Brenzikofen station southwards along the railway tracks to the campsite. At a short distance, follow the Rotache river to the group of houses in Boden and gently climb towards the gorge entrance. Along the way, enjoy pretty stream motifs. Shortly after the rest area with a fireplace, cross the small bridge and then climb up on a rough path through the steep forest slope. Upon exiting the forest, you are surprised by the vastness of the landscape. Initially almost level, the path then ascends more steeply towards the group of houses in Lueg and the large farm Lueghubel in a splendid panoramic location east of the slightly higher Wachthubel. The view over the Thunersee region to the Kandertal mountains and the Stockhorn-Gantrisch chain is overwhelming.
The high-altitude hike over the Allmit to Fuchsegg offers a magnificent view of the sunny slope of Buchholterberg, dotted with countless farms, and towards the village of Heimenschwand. The slender church tower of Schwarzenegg is already visible, behind it the forest ridge of Honegg and the jagged ridges from Schrattenflue to Sigriswiler Rothorn. The stately farms of Hinderzunen and Ried with their lush floral decorations and the cozy church square in Schwarzenegg make up for the previous 45-minute asphalt walk.
