Surrounded by the picturesque Schadauparkt, Schadau Castle overlooks the glittering waters of Lake Thun. This is where you start your discovery tour. You reach the town of Thun along the River Aare. Stroll through the old town to the church steps. Here you climb 150 steps up to the castle. The view is breathtaking!
The route continues along the Aarequai to Hünibach. From here, you can reach Hünegg Castle in Hilterfingen in no time at all.
The well-tended gardens invite you to linger. The romantic Oberhofen Castle is just 20 minutes away. Let your imagination run wild and embark on a magical journey back in time.
If you like, you can change to the boat here and travel to Spiez. The fifth Lake Thun Castle awaits you right by the boat landing stage in Spiez. Climb the castle tower once again and be enchanted by the most beautiful bay in Europe.
