Touch the Mountains is the first festival of the new year, with top performers from across Switzerland getting Interlaken's new year off to a cracking start. During the free concerts you can eat at various food stands and bars on the Höheweg from 1.00 pm onwards, while traditional entertainment is provided by Trychler and folklore groups. The event also includes unmissable and spectacular fireworks display on the Höhematte at 7.45 pm. All in all a fun way to start the new year!
