When bass booms out at the upper end of Lake Brienz and a tent village stands between the Aare and the highway, you know that it’s that time of year again and the Lake Brienz Rock Festival is well underway. Rock music fans from across Switzerland make a pilgrimage to Brienz every year to take part in this unique three-day rock festival. In a large marquee erected beside beautiful Lake Brienz you can listen to rock guitar music from Switzerland and all around the world. The breathtaking natural scenery and turquoise-coloured Lake Brienz make the festival a truly unforgettable experience. Pack your swimsuits!
The huge marquee can be opened on the lakeside in fine weather, meaning the festival is an all-weather event where you can enjoy the best rock music even in the rain. A large refreshments marquee offers everything your heart (and stomach) desires. You can pitch your tent on the camping site right next to the festival site as early as Thursday.
