Congress, Course
Herb Week at Schweibenalp: Learn to identify, grow, and process medicinal plants, create your own herbal products, and deepen your knowledge through nature experiences.
Herb Week at Schweibenalp

Nestled in the wild beauty of the Bernese Alps, Schweibenalp invites you to a special herb week – a journey into the healing world of plants, their powers, and their wisdom.

Together with the experienced herbalists Tabea Ehrensperger, Ellen Voges, and Lisa Raimund, you will immerse yourself in a vibrant learning environment that combines traditional plant knowledge, connection to nature, and practical herbal skills.

What awaits you during the Herb Week

Cultivation & Care of Medicinal Plants
You will gain well-founded insights into organic cultivation methods, learn about the needs of different medicinal plants, and discover how mindful care helps herbs flourish.

Knowledge of Medicinal Plants
You will encounter important medicinal plants directly in their natural habitat and learn about their properties, effects, and traditional uses. Through shared observation, smelling, and processing, plant knowledge becomes vivid and applicable in everyday life.

Preparations from the Herbal Kitchen
You will learn how fresh and dried plants are transformed into effective home remedies – balms, tinctures, infused oils, herbal teas, and seasonal specialties.

Alchemy & Distillation
You will experience the magic of plant alchemy and take part in a complete distillation process – from harvesting to fragrant hydrosol. The essence of the plant becomes tangible through hands-on practice.

Products to Take Home
You will create your own herbal products and take home a small, personal medicine cabinet.

Plant Meditation & Connection to Nature
Guided nature encounters and meditative plant journeys open a space for deep listening, inner awareness, and a profound connection with medicinal plants and the land.
