In the ancient European tradition and worldview of our ancestors, the Earth was seen as a living being. Understanding its language, following its laws, and living in harmony with the environment and oneself—this is what gaiamancy teaches. This ancient wisdom of living with the Earth was almost lost and is now taught by only a few initiates.
In this seminar, we will learn and experience this ancient, precious, and highly relevant knowledge for our time. The seminar introduces the basic principles, philosophy, and experiential practice of European landscape gaiamancy. This knowledge enables us to “read the landscape” and helps in identifying and evaluating places of power. We will follow the flow of life energy—the “Green Dragon”—in the landscape and within ourselves. The soul dimension of geomancy will unfold for us through both theory and practice.
We will experience the landscape directly. The world of mountains, minerals, and plants will accompany us. This journey will take us back to the origins of gaiamancy, to our ancestors in the European Neolithic. A fascinating journey through time and space. Our seminar location, the magnificent mountain world of Schweibenalp, will support us in our explorations.
