Fondue Night @HotelKroneThun

Starting in mid-November, the Hotel Krone Thun’s “Fondüwäudli” will reopen its doors. Right next to the hotel, a special spot emerges during the winter months for cozy get-togethers with friends, family, or colleagues.

Classic cheese fondue is served in a wintery atmosphere. Large umbrellas provide shelter from snow and rain, while wood chips, fir trees, cozy blankets, and fur rugs create the perfect ambiance. Mulled wine and warming schnapps are also available.

The “Fondüwäudli” is open Tuesday through Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. It is generally closed on Sundays and Mondays. During the Sunday sales on December 13 and 20, 2026, the “Fondüwäudli” will also be open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Reservations can be made by phone or email. Warm clothing is recommended—because the “Fondüwäudli” is and always will be a true outdoor experience.

On Saturday, the “Fondüwäudli” is open starting at 11:30 a.m. From Tuesday through Friday, we’re happy to open at lunchtime for groups upon request.
