A varied snowshoe hiking route through a winter forest, with beautiful panorama and quiet sections. The snowshoe trail is marked

Starting from the Rossberg ski lift, the snowshoe hike quickly leads into winter silence. The path first goes through a small ditch and past a sawmill powered by hydropower. Slightly uphill it goes towards Risiboden. Then it continues through the snowy winter forest, pleasantly ascending. With magnificent distant views to the Grätli, Niderhore and Buufal it goes over treeless terrain up to Schönenbode. Ascending towards the Grubi alpine hut, the trail takes an additional loop here. It then descends through a ditch and on the other side over a long slope up to the Schwändli alpine hut. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Stockhorn range. Crossing the ski slope it now leads back to the starting point, the Rossberg ski lift. After a few more meters one arrives on a prepared path at the Rossberg mountain guesthouse.
