Iseltwald Village Tour

Follow the black sign No. 5 marked “Dorfrungang”. From the village square, passing the cosy Restaurant Dorfpintli, the trail takes you along Lake Brienz to the Strandhotel and its unique panoramic terrace. From the boat embarkation point, passing the landing stage, you follow the trail up towards Parkplatz Mühle. Follow the black sign and walk towards the Mülibach waterfall, Iseltwald’s spectacular waterfall. Then continue on to Tuffgraben. A little brook flows over stone steps through the rifts to Lake Brienz. After the steep descent, you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the bay with Seeburg Castle and little “Schneckeninsel”. Now walk to the lido with its trendy bistro right next to the water. Further along the lakeside promenade, the restaurant terraces offer an inviting place to make a short stop in a stunning backdrop. Soon you reach the village square where we recommend a browse in the village shop. You can then continue the tour depending on where you first picked it up.
