- Start: Engstligenalp
- Destination: Gemmipass
A wide plain opens up on the Engstligenalp. The saddle in the Engstligen ridge south of the Chindbettihorn now serves as a trail marker. Across alpine pastures, the path ascends to the Dossenseeli, located between massive rock blocks, and steeper still to the Chindbettipass. Ahead lies the small Tälli Lake. Across scree, sometimes pathless, you cross the Tälli hollow below the Tälli Glacier. Again, a saddle between a scenic rocky knoll and the Felsenhorn marks the way, then follows a very steep descent through the Rote Chumme. Along the steep west shore of the Dauben Lake, the path leads to the hotel at the Gemmi Pass.
