  • Start: Interlaken East, valley station Harderbahn
  • Destination: Harderbahn, mountain station

Immediately to the left of the valley station of the Harderbahn begins the footpath. Some switchbacks uphill and a little road to the left to the Hohbüel pavilion at the end of the road, where Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy also enjoyed the beautiful view. From here the hiking trail runs in the opposite direction gently ascending along the slope towards Goldswil. After about 200 meters the hiking trail crosses the Harderbahn and shortly afterwards the dirt road. On a clearing just before Goldswil it then continues on a paved road to Goldswil. With the Burgseeli already in sight on the right, the path turns left off the road into the forest and runs back in the opposite direction. Behind the larch grove »Obere Bleiki« diagonally uphill, again under the railway, you reach the rest area on the head of the Hardermandli. After another 20 minutes you reach the sun terrace of the Harder Kulm restaurant where you are rewarded with a wonderful view while enjoying a cup of coffee and cake. The descent can now be undertaken by train (8 minutes) or on foot in 2 hours.
