The starting point for all snowshoe trails on the Axalp is always the Axalp/Sportbahnen bus stop. Behind the Axalp Stübli restaurant, the snowshoe trail follows the Schnitzlerweg, known in summer and now deeply snow-covered. Some caution is advised in the area of the Gausband (rock band). Otherwise, the route leads through untouched forests and over sparkling snowfields to the mystical lying Hinterburgseeli. On the same easy route, you return to the starting point at Axalp.
