Take the mountain railway up, enjoy the beautiful view on a well-maintained winter hiking trail, and comfortably return with the mountain railway: This short but delightful experience is promised by the high route from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg. Right at the start, you could stop in, as the Berghaus Männlichen is located next to the Männlichenbahn mountain station. Then follow the pink signposts that guide you over to Kleine Scheidegg. The winter hiking trail does not follow the well-known summer hiking trail along its course. It first goes slightly downhill, then winds along the foot of the Tschuggen before the roughly half-hour final ascent from Arvengarten to Kleine Scheidegg quickens the pulse a bit. At Kleine Scheidegg, an extensive range of gastronomy awaits again, so you can end the day on one of the sun terraces.
Anyone who wishes can extend the hike as they like, for example: ascend from the Männlichenbahn mountain station on the short themed trail "Royal Walk" to the Männlichen summit or add the winter hiking trail to Eigergletscher station at the destination on Kleine Scheidegg.

From the Männlichen mountain station (2229 m), follow the marked winter hiking trail via Gummi (2004 m) and Bustligen (1873 m) to Kleine Scheidegg (2061 m).

Directions & Parking facilities
Arrival: From Interlaken Ost with Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) to Grindelwald Terminal, then continue with the Männlichenbahn to the Männlichen mountain station. Alternatively from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, continue with Wengernalpbahn to Wengen and from there with the cable car to Männlichen.
Return: From Kleine Scheidegg with Wengernalpbahn to Grindelwald.
