At the farm Truten, you turn left and continue descending over pastures and through forest. At a hairpin bend, there is a bench that offers a view of Kandergrund. Above Reinisch, you reach a road. At the Reinisch schoolhouse, it goes towards the village of Frutigen. Here, the view opens to the upper Kander valley. After Büelen, the final descent through forest follows.
