Over the Margelsattel, reach Margel Pt. 1185 and at the next intersection turn right to Ringoldswil. Alternately flat, downhill, and uphill, the route leads over grassland, field paths, and finally a hard surface towards Ringoldswil. It is worth occasionally enjoying the changing scenery of Lake Thun and the Alps. At Chrinde Pt. 1033, turn right without significant elevation change on a hard-surfaced road. In the forest, turn left onto a footpath that descends to Schwändigrabe.
